Shipping & Returns

Policy overview for USM orders. Specific terms may be confirmed on individual order documentation.

Made-to-Order Products

Most USM products are made to order. Production begins after order confirmation. Custom or made-to-order products may be non-refundable once production begins.

Lead Times

Lead times are estimates based on current production scheduling. See the Lead Times page for current windows. USM will notify customers if a build is delayed materially beyond its quoted window.

Cancellations

Cancellation requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Orders that have not yet entered production are typically cancellable; orders in production may carry partial cost recovery.

Deposits / Preorder Holds

Some configurations may require a deposit or preorder hold to enter the production queue. Deposit terms are confirmed at the time of quote acceptance.

Shipping Insurance

Shipping insurance is available and recommended on high-value orders. Insurance coverage is confirmed at order checkout.

Signature Required

Signature is required at delivery for high-value orders. Make sure the shipping address has someone available to receive the package.

Lost or Damaged Shipments

If a shipment arrives damaged, document the damage with photos prior to opening (where possible) and contact USM within 48 hours. Lost shipments will be traced with the carrier; insured shipments are covered per the carrier's policy.

Returns

Returns are subject to USM approval. Stock items may be returned within a defined window in unused, original condition. Custom or made-to-order products are typically non-refundable once production begins. Contact USM with your order number to initiate any return discussion.
